THE ROLE:
As the Senior Sous Chef of this luxurious Day Spa the successful candidate would be expected to assist the Group Head Chef in the following duties:
Leading/supervising the kitchen brigade
Producing outstanding food to agreed company standards
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
Dealing with conflict and challenges
Supporting with recruitment and motivation of staff
Development and training of all kitchen staff

THE CANDIDATE:
At least 5 years previous experience working in a senior role in a kitchen environment
Experience of leading/supervising essential
Able to work in a fast paced, busy environment
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Hotel and Hospitality essential
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Hotel and Hospitality an advantage
Food Hygiene Certificate essential
Good knowledge of HACCPS
Excellent knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation essential
Excellent communicator

Duties will include: to follow all health and safety procedures at all times, to ensure all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and tidy and assist where help is needed.
