A Treat for The Feet After a Festival Weekend!
This week I was lucky to experience the Whisky Foot Treat (as part of Eden’s Treatment of the Month taster selection for September) I was looking forward to this as having been to a festival the past weekend, my feet were feeling broken and sore!
When I arrived for the treatment, Louise took me into the treatment room and asked me if I had any concerns. I explained my feet were feeling bruised from being trodden on and walked on all weekend. She explained the massage would really help my aches and pains and the treatment would push moisture back into my tired feet.
I lay on the couch and Louise placed a small lavender pillow over my eyes. This was great as it helped me to instantly relax. She used hot mitts to cleanse my feet and then exfoliated them – this felt amazing and so refreshing. The whisky scrub smelt so rich and the salts really felt good on my hard skin. She then applied hot oils and creams and wrapped up my feet.
I then received a relaxing scalp massage – I had opted for oil in my hair and the products smelt amazing I could really feel all my tension easing. Then the part I had been waiting for; Louise unwrapped my feet and started the foot massage. It was BLISS! Louise used her knuckles and I could feel them really working the sore parts of my feet. The treatment ended with an application of fig and vanilla moisturiser. My feet felt much better and so so soft.
This is a post festival/post summer holiday recovery must! I arrived for my treatment feeling like I had walked over hot coals and I left floating on air!
