You’ll have had a detailed career so far in Human Resources, and will bring with you a wealth of knowledge in best practice, human resources strategy and policies, legislation and implementation, you’ll be joining the head office for two of the most beautiful hospitality properties in the UK. So, with that, you’ll gain the title of Group Human Resources Manager.
As a HR Manager already, you’ll be immersed in all aspects of the business. You’ll know the ins and outs of your teams and you’ll know what, why and how to achieve the most efficient and people-friendly way of doing things. Being the go-to, it’s imperative you’re completely approachable, well rounded and have excellent empathy skills.
With the positive shift towards mental health and staff wellbeing, you will be at the forefront of creating an effective process for employee relations, training, appraisals and performance management. Getting the best out of teams is something which comes naturally, and you’ll be able to assist the HoDs to achieve this, too.

What you’ll do:
• Develop the HR strategy
• Manage Human Resource Manager and Group Training Manager
• You’ll forward plan to ensure an efficient and effective process for everyone
• Develop and implement HR policies across the group
• Management of the HR budget
• Analyse employment demand and trends to constantly improve areas
• Monitor relevant legislation, ensuring the business operates or adjusts accordingly
• Constant focus on promoting positive employee relations, high-quality training, appraisals and performance management
• Act as the conduit with trade unions
• Develop good recruitment and retention policies and practices
• Inspire the teams – a happy team is a productive team
• Use and embrace technology and social media to assist with HR practices (it’s 2019, after all)

Some key things about you:
• Demonstrable experience is a must – you’ll already know your stuff and be able to come in and get to work straight away
• Able to communicate to all levels
• Great understanding of employee psychology
• Highly capable at establishing and then endorsing a culture that reflects HR goals and ethos of the business
• Well-developed coaching skills
• Positive, calm and assured
• Someone who welcomes change and understands the reasoning behind updating and moving forward
You’ll have come from a large operation background where you will have demonstrated long and short-term strategies to best meet the business needs.

What you’ll get:
• Basic salary of £45,000 – £50,000
